Jo: I can’t stand Christmas

Popworld asked Jo if she was looking forward to Christmas and here is what she had to say:

I can’t stand Christmas. I’m a right old Scrooge, I am. I love it for the kids, and I think it’s really amazing with all the excitement of seeing Father Christmas, but I think, as you get older, it’s definitely just for the kids. It’s a pain in the ass – lots of cooking and seeing relatives that you really don’t want to see.

Jon decorated my Christmas tree last year and I could have killed him! He was like, ‘Jo, it’s Christmas – it’s got to be tack.’ He was putting on greens and reds and oranges and pinks and purples! I left it ‘cos he would have been upset if he’d have known I’d changed it. Plus, I couldn’t be bothered anyway. I’m so miserable, but it’s just not my thing.’
