Jo: Dear Diary…

Warning: do not read!

I used to keep a diary when I was 14 but I’d never let anyone look at it! I’ve still got it and I do sometimes read it. I’d be writing about this guy that I was really, really in love with. Now I look back and think, “God, he was sooo ugly! What was I thinking?!” I used to write poetry too. I always used to write about fireworks for some really odd reason. Whenever it got to that time of year, I just start writing about Catherine wheels and sparklers and stuff! I wish I’d kept my poetry!

You’ve got nails

At the moment, I’ve got some Nailtique beside my bed. I used to bite my nails – they were really horrible and short and it took two weeks to grow them but this stuff makes them really strong!

Time out!

If I’m really feeling down, I prefer to be by myself and just get over it. Do you know, my favourite place in the world is probably my bathroom? I love to lay in my own bath and chill. I don’t like strange baths.

I’m really niceâ€¦ honest!

A lot of people think I’m really horrible and bitchy and moody. I guess I do come across that way most of the time but only cos I sit there with my face all grumpy-looking. That’s my natural face though, I can’t help but frown! People always go, ‘Ooh, stay away from her!’ but I’m actually not like that at all. I think I’m quite easy to get on with. I’m one of those people, you know, if you’re on the right side of me, it’s cool! The only things I hate are racism and two-faced people.

The fame game

My biggest fear at the moment is losing my privacy. It’s starting to feel like it’s becoming worse. I hate the thought that people look at me differently now cos of what I do. Still, I’ve got no regrets… apart from bleaching my hair white and ruining it! Thank goodness the colour has come out now – my hair was literally snow white!

Pass me a hanky

I cried yesterday. I was so angry! I wasn’t crying cos I was upset, it was just cos I was so stressed out on set. Later, I was crying with laughter cos one of the show’s producers pulled a really funny face and it just had me in tears. The crew are wicked!
