S Club Reach New Heights

S Club 7 have entered the record books after hosting a telephone conversation for 3,500 people.

The band gathered recently at the Sound nightclub in Leicester Square, London, in an event organised by BT.

Fans began firing-in questions and some got the opportunity to speak to the band, while others listened in.

A BT spokesman explained: “Then for five minutes the phone lines were all opened up so that 3,500 people could talk at once and have one big conversation. It was a hell of a din”.

Adjudicators from the Guinness Book of Records have confirmed that both the band and BT have entered the record books with the feat.
