S Club 7 Get Dolled Up

S Club 7 have received the pop world’s highest accolade and are having their own series of S Club dolls made.

A toy firm is bringing out a set of 12-inch (30 centimetre) dolls modelled on the group. But the band aren’t impressed.

“I don’t think mine looks like me,” says Jo O’Meara, while Hannah Spearrit adds: “Mine caused a big laugh when I took it home,” and Paul Cattermole says: “I would have preferred mine to be a bit more macho.”

Both Steps and Five doll sets are being released in time for Christmas.
