S Club 7 To Lift Spirits

British pop stars S Club 7 are being recruited to lift the spirits of the American public, following the September 11 devastating terrorist attacks on the nation.

S Club 7 are part of a host of stars being lined up to feature in a series of public service announcements on American TV station FOX Family, to show their support to the troubled nation, following attacks on New York’s World Trade Center and Washington DC’s Pentagon.

Fox Family, who broadcasts S Club 7′s show in America, is also considering recruiting the stars of its other children-oriented programmes to promote unity and urge citizens to help as best they can as they prepare for imminent battle.

A spokesperson at the station says, “S Club 7, along with a few other stars are being looked at to appear in some public service announcements. I haven’t personally heard how they feel about the situation, but I’d imagine that they must be very devastated. They’ve just finished recording their new series here in California, but we’d really like them to take part in this — so many of our young viewers really look up to them.”
