No Go for Jo

Jo O’Meara’s attempts to Reach For The Stars since S Club 7 split have struggled to take off.

Playing new songs at a private party in a former Pizza Express restaurant, none of the guests had a clue who she was – and no one danced.

Eventually she gave up trying to re-invent herself and belted out some of the old numbers.

An insider at the venue in Kensington, West London, said: “It was so sad. Poor Jo had been giving it her all singing her new songs, but everyone just ignored her. No one knew who she was, until she finally gave up and sang a couple of S Club 7 hits.”

Don’t Stop Movin’, Jo, and don’t give up either…
