S Club 7 Say New Song Makes Them Sad

S Club 7 say performing their new charity single Have You Ever makes them feel sad, they are hoping the track will help raise a record amount of money. The record is released in aid of the BBC’s Children In Need on November 19. Last year S Club 7 raised £200,000 for the charity with their single Never Had A Dream Come True.

They say Have You Ever is different from their previous singles because it doesn’t have a happy ending. Band member Jon said: “It’s a very sad song really, to listen to as well as perform. It’s aimed at anyone who has lost someone, especially young children who have lost a parent. The message is definitely awareness. It fits in well with Children In Need. We’re glad that we were asked to take part in the charity again and this time we hope to raise even more money.”
